Testimonials

Kind words from some of our current and past A.A.I.M.S. families:

We enrolled our daughter in school at AAIMS when she was 3 years old. The school director, Ms. Nargis, has real passion for her students and her teachers. We knew that AAIMS was the place for us when we did a visit of the school. Our daughter was at the school until the end of her 2nd grade year. She loved all her teachers at the school and has made many wonderful friendships. The teaching staff is very kind and caring and was always reaching out to us when there was something that we needed to talk about. I never had to worry when my daughter was at AAIMS. I always knew she was being taken care of and her days were filled with new experiences, learning life skills, creativity and academics. My daughter enjoyed gardening and learning about how our food is grown and harvested. She learned different kinds of art techniques. The creativity of teaching at this school and the freedom given to the students to learn at their own pace is a technique that we really believe gave our child her enthusiastic love of learning. I know that the academic and social skills and lessons that she learned at AAIMS will be the foundation upon which she will build for the rest of her life.

“After almost 7 years …. today was our last day at AAIMS Montessori School. I have no words to describe the gratitude we feel towards Nargis and all the teachers at this wonderful school. They have showered our kids with tons of love & kindness. As parents everyone tries to give the best of everything to their children at home. Because of AAIMS, our kids have had the best of everything at school as well. Nargis, you are truly an amazing director & teacher, one who has a big heart and a burning desire & passion to make this world a better place….one kid at a time. Thank you for imparting the best lessons on Siyona and Niam. Niam has been with you since he was 12 weeks old and Siyona spent 4 years before starting Elementary school. Amit and I have always been at peace knowing that our kids were in great hands when they were at school. We have seen your beautiful school grow from just a handful of kids to over a hundred now. This has happened because of your vision, your passion and the world class education you provide to the kids. Thank you for being a great teacher to our kids! We will miss AAIMS so much!

“Dear Nargis, your school is awesome and I cannot say enough about you and your school. We as parents can see the passion you have towards your school and the way you deal with kids, teachers and running the school.  Your dedication and efforts reflect in the teachings given to our children and we are so happy that Armaan is graduating from this school. Armaan is a bright child but it is with the discipline and excellent curriculum & teachings given by Ms.Alicia that Armaan got the opportunity to further expand his personality here. As parents, we are proud to say our son has gone to AAIMS Montessori and now has been accepted at another excellent school. Amaira has grown into a loving, respectful and fun loving person in this past year. Once again, big thank you to Ms.Sumi for working with me. I remember how we had to give her so many reminders of not hitting other kids. It is wonderful to see her progress. She has started writing, and on her way to reading. Amaira loves the school and is looking forward to coming back in the fall. Thank you once again! ”

“Hey Nargis, I absolutely cannot believe that today is our last day at AAIMS!  You have been so fantastic with the kids and we will never forget our experience there.  Niam and Siyona are terrific children and you played a tremendous role in their development.  I honestly believe that the impression you have made on the kids will benefit them for their entire lives.  Thank you so much for everything you have done for us.  We will continue to support the school by referring our friends and visiting from time to time.”

“My 4 year old daughter has attended for only two months, but we love it! After a poor experience at another Montessori school, I was nervous, but A.A.I.M.S. has proven to be a wonderful and loving place for my daughter. I can see she is challenged there with new skills and expectations, but also thrives in the warm community that makes up the Primary class. As others have said, Ms Nargis is definitely a wonderful early childhood educator and leader. This school is very diverse as well, so many opportunities for children to learn from each other. I love the mix of ages in the primary class as well, my daughter really benefits from that socially. She comes home from school energetic and with no home behavior problems in the evening (as she did from her other school), and is always eager to go in the morning.” – Candace

” My daughter started at the school in 2009 at the age of three and a half.  We had visited several Montessori programs in the area, but were attracted by Nargis Soldier’s experience, calm demeanor and the obvious pleasure she takes in working with her students.   The school environment is orderly, calm and well structured and Nargis promotes healthy, positive interactions between the children.  After 9 months, my daughter knows the alphabet, counting and can read and write short words.  She knows her ‘letter sounds’ and can ‘reason out’ short words she has not encountered.  She knows all of the continents and their locations on the map (unlike many adults).  All in all, we have been extremely pleased with the school and our daughter’s progress.  I would recommend A.A.I.M.S. Montessori School without reservation.”

“My 3.5 year old daughter has been with A.A.I.M.S. Montessori School since the beginning of this year.  I could not have asked for a better school or better teachers!  She is learning so much and is so advanced for her age.  Ms. Nargis and the teachers are dedicated, educated, patient and very loving.  They give these children an environment for them to thrive and are they ever!!  My daughter amazes me daily with the many many things she is accomplishing.  I would and DO recommend this school for any parent that wants to see their child thrive!!”

“We first went to A.A.I.M.S. because our oldest was showing some emotional developmental issues and we were getting desperate. She took us in and showed us around the amazing school she created from hard work, love, and will power. She has helped our son prosper beyond our imaginations! He’s just six years old and learning things I don’t remember getting introduced to until middle school at the earliest. Whether your child has needs for which a public education is not well suited or you just want help in expanding your little genius’s horizons, Ms. Nargis can pull the most out of him or her. We are so grateful for finding her and A.A.I.M.S. Words could NEVER be enough to show our gratitude.”

“I couldn’t be more impressed with A.A.I.M.S.  What a top-notch program! Hats off to the owner and to her wonderful team. The students and their families are very lucky to be a part of the A.A.I.M.S. family.”

I am a school teacher and a pretty tough judge of schools for my children. This is my second year with children at AAIMS. I have a child in the primary class and a child in the elementary class. The director and staff are 100% committed to loving the children, keeping them safe, and providing a stimulating learning environment. The rules and procedures in place keep the school organized, safe, and centered around student learning. I walked the downstairs hall daily to pick up my younger child. In each classroom the children were actively engaged with learning activities on his/her rug, at a table, or in circle time. The children were well-behaved and clearly understood the expectations of their classroom. Both of my children have THRIVED at this school because they feel safe, cared for, and stimulated academically. Even my three year old comes home with his journal beaming with pride as he shows me the work he has done. I am incredibly thankful for this school!

“I had the wonderful opportunity to have a tour and visit of A.A.I.M.S. Montessori School with my 6 and 4 year old last week.  I was completely blown away! Not only with the staff and facility itself, but with the beautiful manner in which they all interacted with each other.  A.A.I.M.S. clearly offers everything that aligns with the philosophy of Montessori education but so much more.  The children possess independence and freedom within their own limits. I observed that the students and teachers have a very high level of mutual respect for each other.  I found myself smiling when I noticed a child doing something they knew they weren’t supposed to be doing which had to be addressed.  It was done in a very thoughtful, peaceful, and ultimately effective way! I had never seen anything like this before – everyone addressing each other in a calm manner.”

“A.A.I.M.S. demonstrates the ability to effectively discipline in a very calm yet assertive manner without voice-raising, yelling and definitely no meltdowns! I am so thankful for the opportunity to visit and observe for an extended period of time.  The teachers treated the students as if they were their own children – they do an amazing job of challenging and encouraging them, but most of all celebrating their accomplishments and milestones.”

– Yasmin

“Our little one has been attending A.A.I.M.S. for almost a year now. He started when he was just 5 months old and we couldn’t praise this school enough. The teachers there are very nurturing and treat each child as they are important and speak to them with respect. Even at a very young age, their goal is to meet not only their emotional and physical needs, but to enrich their developmental needs as well. We enjoy that this is a school environment and not just another day care. They involve the families with dinners, programs, and a lot of parent communication. We could not ask for much more!”

My soon to be 3 year old has spent the past 8 months at A.A.I.M.S. Montessori School. He has been in a small setting with 8 children and is thriving. He has mastered the following milestones:

Completely potty trained, washes hands and cleans up after meals (self care)

reading 9-12 site words (identifies cat, the, hat, go, be, etc)

pink tower

knows phonetic sound and can identify all letters of alphabet

exhibits self control on play ground

accomplishes “goals” during work time

coloring in the lines

writing a few letters with legibility

working on sand paper letters

knows months of year, can identify all 7 continents on a world map

counts to 20 English, Spanish to 10

counts up to 5 objects

There is much more. This environment has been great. My son did not get one major sickness over the fall, winter or spring. I feel like he is really on the fast track! He even practices stretching exercises and has a Spanish class once a week.”
