Activities Offered at A.A.I.M.S.

A.A.I.M.S. Montessori School offers all of these activities during the school day providing a comfortable and safe environment for your child to expand their skills.

Spanish (2-9 Years Old)

Students practice basic vocabulary, colors, numbers, songs, and speaking to develop a familiarity with the Spanish Language.

Playball (2-9 Years Old)

Children are introduced to constructive and enjoyable sports through various age-appropriate skills. All programs have a “multi-activity” approach, ensuring a foundation in all the popular sports.

Table Tennis (4-9 years old)

Coach Michael introduces table tennis fundamentals through simple games and drills that complement the Montessori method. Table tennis develops balance, coordination, predictive skills, and pattern recognition. Students also benefit from improved social and emotional growth.

Michael has a 2100+ USATT rating and competes in national tournaments. He has many years of experience coaching and advocating for the sport.

Tennis (3-9 Years Old)

Tennis Enrichment class helps children ages build coordination, balance, and confidence through playful movement and beginner tennis skills. Each session combines foundational learning with fun games and level-based instruction to develop strong fundamentals and a lifelong love for active learning in the sport.

Ballet (3-9 Years Old)

Petite Ballerinas classes are designed for freedom of expression through the artistry and technique of classical ballet training. We seek to nurture children in their love for dance while improving coordination, concentration and the graceful agility of ballet movement. Jamie Lanier performed throughout metro Atlanta area for many years, and has also been teaching for 25 years now to students aged three all the way through to adulthood! Students show what they have learned during a performance at the end of each semester.

Karate (3-9 Years Old)

Karate for Kids class teaches basic punches, kicks and blocks. Children will learn through karate training and technique to strengthen and stretch the body and increase mental discipline and focus through non-contact, non-competitive fun! Jamie Lanier began her training at age 11 with her younger brother. Karate shaped, honed and strengthened her mind as a child and through her adulthood. She developed and began teaching young children karate skills in various private schools over a decade ago, and enjoys helping children grow and learn with focused and fun skills training. Students also show what they have learned during a performance at the end of each semester.
